Both my wife and I are first generation Americans.  Our parents taught us the values and concerns of the immigrant working class.  We honor the sacrifices that our parents made to become American.

I  believe in honor and serving my country.  I attended the US Military Academy at West Point and graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering.  I minored in French and further studied it while serving in the US Army.  I am also conversant in Spanish.

I am a graduate of the US Army Airborne School and the US Army's Ranger School.

After my service in the Army, I earned an MBA from Cornell University.

I spent a dozen years working in high-tech manufacturing in the Silicon Valley of California and our own Research Triangle Park.  I specialized in Supply Chain Management.  Through the span of my military and high-tech corporate careers, I have worked internationally in Germany, Honduras, England, Japan, and France.

I believe in community service.  I've served as a Chairman of the Town of Morrisville Board of Adjustments, Wake County voting precinct Chief Judge, Security Team member at St. Michael the Archangel, Morrisville Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Youth Soccer coach.

My wife, Angie, and I have called Morrisville our home for over 21 years.  Our family consists of the 2 of us, our foster-daughter, Viktoria, and her daughter, Alevtina.

We were able to start and grow a successful portfolio of rental real estate.  Currently, I am studying for an Executive Education Certificate in Blockchain Implementation Strategies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

I've served as a Treasurer of a local non-profit organization.
